Today, Ningbo No.9 Hospital (Jiangbei District People’s Hospital, at #68, Lane 619, Xiejia Road, Jiangbei District), opened. The hospital is the largest project concerning people’s livelihood that Jiangbei District has so far invested in.

The investment for the first phase of this newly built hospital is 220 million yuan. With a floorage of about 32,500 square meters, and 295 beds, the hospital is designed as a II-A hospital, equipped with modern medical facilities. The hospital has such departments as ICU, internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics.

Chen Hualiang, Director of the hospital, said, they will aim to turn the hospital into a quite competitive comprehensive hospital in the coming 3 or 5 years.
